Newly furnished 19th Century cottage built 1860, for non-smokers. Situated in the Norfolk coastal village of Hopton-On-Sea. The sandy beach lies at the end of the road, only a 10 minute walk away.  Our cottage sleeps up to 5 people. The cottage offers one double room, one single room and one twin room (ground floor). Sorry no pets.

 

Poppy Cottage has central heating and is tastefully decorated throughout. The 1st floor landing bedroom has a stunning King size four-poster bed, draped in white lace. There is also a single bedroom and separate bathroom on this level. Please note, due to age and design of the cottage some guests with a walking disability may find the stairs steep and winding.

 

On the ground floor the main sitting room has an open brick fireplace with electric wood burner stove and beamed ceilings. There is a T.V. + Video.

The kitchen diner is fully equipped with cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and ironing facilities.

Also on the ground floor there is a shower room with toilet and hand basin.

To the back of the house lies a separate bed / sitting room with T.V.and 2 further single beds. French doors opening up into an enclosed garden.

 

Hopton-On-Sea is situated between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. The village has a bakers, two small grocery stores, newsagents, church, post office, and public house serving hot meals. Ideal base for a cosy winter break, family beach holiday or for exploring the Norfolk Broads which are just 4 miles away.

 

Bed linen, gas, electricity, and heating are all included in the price. Guests are requested to supply their own personal towels.
